The 20+ million egg take at the new hatchery will be key. Some believe they could get 25 million eggs. Very good chance of solidifying a fishery in the near future. It's hard to believe its been since '06 since we had a fishery.

You must fish the mouth of the Issaquah for boots.  Why?

206, not sure if you were directing that at me, but I was not referencing the Issaquah fishery for kings. I was only referencing the Lake WA sockeye. However, I have fished the kings and have done quite well. The fight is great of non-stop 20+ pounders and so is the meat. Yeah, occasionally you'll get a dark one with so-so meat, but the good firm smoker meat wins out most days. Feel free to stay home and leaving 'em for all of us. Plus, I love the look on my wife's face after a twenty plus minute battle when a big one is tearing her up. Kinda hard to say no when she wants to go fishing.
