nhr(not hunting related).  stopped in at the rock island bar one time on my way to somewhere and when i left i forgot where i was going.  wound up sleeping in my truck by a little lake that had lots of mosquitos.  lost  much blood, i think,  then went on my way.  mike w

Gotta love it! So there was some type of "Rash" involved. That's the Rock for ya.

I have wanted a 7mm WSM since they came out.  Let's see a target from your tack driver.

So do any of you know all the differences between the Medallion and the hunter models? Is it just the gloss finish and the engraving?

The X-Bolt Medallion in 300 WSM is an absolute tack-driver.  The feel of the X-Bolt is unmatched in my experience.

Beautiful too.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.
