Yote down, 70 yards 223.
« on: August 13, 2012, 12:14:16 PM »
Got this guy outside Ellensburg yesterday morning. Ki-Yi Pup distress called him in at a run.  Blew his cover when he barked at me, I called back and he was there in less than 10 seconds.  Dropped him in his tracks with the 223 at 70 yards.  Kept the pelt and the skull.  Pelt cleaned up pretty dang nice despite half of his winter coat still on.  I think he weighed upwards of 40lbs.

First yote!

Nice job

I killed one today while on the tractor, he was out about 150 yards broadside. He was one of 6 that jumped out of the brush and ran up the hill, saw a total of 10 just today.

This is two of 4 from yesterday, I choose to leave them alone however

Checkin' wind and makin' smoke.
That's how I roll...
