What is the final weight on all that?  Are you backpacking in or driving to a camp ground?

Pack without the firearms, ammo or fishing stuff was about 30lbs. Figure total weight carried with water will be close to 50. Some might get spread to my partner depending on what he has. We will be going on foot.

If your used to that weight then go for it, watch the temps and make sure to pack lots of water or have access to it.  Also take some good pics for the webiste, and have a safe trip

I didn't see a sleeping pad, you'll need one. And I saw you only mentioned bug spray once, you'll need more.

Maybe toilet paper (might have missed it) and a trashbag.  I usually take the big black bags that can be used like spare pack cover or cut up for tarp or something.  Even good for putting meat in to dip in the river to keep cool or put snow in to make a ice bag.  Bug netting might be a good thing even with bug spray.

why the pistol if you have a rifle?  That is lots of extra weight!  Good call on the pad, tp, and garbage bags   I dont bring bug spray... if you spend enought time with the bugs you learn to ignore them.  You probably dont need so many extra batteries for a three day trip. If the gps and flashlight use the same kind of batteries then bring one extra set.  Add benedryl and tylenol or asprin to your med kit.  Why caribeeners?  I have never heard of somone using a bear bin... I just use a stuff sack and hang it in the trees.  That bin looks too bulky for backpacking.  I also dont bring a cook set... I bring a spoon, hunting knife, and titanium pot for boiling water.  You can eat out of mountainhouse bags and even oatmeal packets.  That also looks like a lot of fire starters.  I only cary a couple for emergencies.  Fires are pretty easy to start without them and you arents supposed to have fires up there right now anyways.   :twocents:

Have fun and good luck!

unless your bottle is part empty id ditch the extra fuel bottle. id also ditch the caribeeners and bear bucket. as said id add benedryl, pad, 1 contractor garbage bag, and i usually take some iodine tabs for filter plan b.
i like to bring a cookset cus i make instant potatoes usually, mmmm! i also like to take mini bottle of purell.

tin foil (small sheet folded a few times and a small amount of Johnny's seasoning salt in a zip-loc bag to bake some of the fish you catch on coal (or if no fire...then to bake on your stove) and since you asked for opinions, I would ditch the handgun and ammo, switch out that heavy knife with a smaller, lighter one, and also leave behind the flask with the alcohol...a good drink is nice to have at the end of the day, but up in the high country you need to realize the affects it has on your body...causes dehydration since you need water to break down the alcohol in your body...just saying...for me, why lose energy over a drink...

Crazysccrmd, been in your shoes looking at my gear and hoping I had all covered.

Try to look at every single piece of gear and either replace with a lighter version you already have, or make sure your buddy has you covered, share gear.

Other ways to shave weight. Ditch the rope carrier, the fish gear carrier, the food carrier (bear box), place all gear into sandwich bags. Pretty sure someone else mentioned to use a thin stuff sack to hang food. (I have hiked since the 70s and never hung food up to keep out of reach and never had an issue.)

Every ounce really counts on a hike like you plan and you will start looking at gear up there and consider burying it just to shave weight. Believe me, been there, done that...

Focus one item at a time,....ask self, do I really need? If so, can my buddy carry some of this, and then how can we lighten the item, IE: microsize, shave, etc...

Good luck. I know the feeling, hate to leave cool stuff at home, but on your trip, you wanna go as light as possible.
