My daughter would love this but she is the same age as your son. She is more than chomping at the bit to get out there though. She has even demanded I leave the woods in the afternoon pick her up after school and take her out. I tried to tell her I could only do that some days and she said absolutely not; so I have no choice. Its ok I took her last year and she can more than keep up with the old man; she is quiet and has great eyes, she may be helpful.

My son is only 3, or I would jump all over it. I am trying to teach myself to hunt so I can teach him when he is old enough. Any chance the offer will still be good in 8 years or so?

Is there any firearm restrictions where you hunt at?.This will be my daughters first year hunting.

My son is 9 and passed his hunter safety course this year. I would love to get him out where he would have a good chance at getting a nice deer.  He has a youth model .308 and a youth model 20 gauge that he practices with reguarly and is a good shot. If this is something that would work for you let me know.  Thanks
