Fall Chinook
« on: August 20, 2012, 01:27:10 PM »
I didn't want to take away from anyone's pics so I figured I would put up a new thread with some of the fish we put in the boat the last few days.

Post up your own pictures I love looking at other peoples fish as well!

Some great looking fish!

I haven't had any time to fish. I am going to miss all my steelhead in the freezer this year :'(
Oh well they killed my favorite place to fish last year anyways :'(

Maybe I can hit a few fall kings.

Carp some times you just have to say screw it and go that's what my wife did and she out fished me/pushed me down  :yike: to get to the rod when it went off! There are some nice fish out there and any time in the next two weeks it should be good!

Heading down Saturday through Wednesday.  Should have the tides and run timed about perfect.

Any advice on fishing right in front of Astoria?  We will be launching at the east basin and have some people that will need to be very close to the launch.

There have been fish on the green can line almost everyday! You will see the boats out there just jump in the mix!

Is it a diver show or lead?  I typically fish on the Washington side above the bridge, and have had the most luck with lead on the bottom.  I haven't figured out the suspended fish thing yet at B10.

Carp - my biggest king was from a river near you and taped out to 46 lbs.  Should be plenty of fish in your area in a few weeks.

Carp I know how it is when it comes to farming! If something is going to break it will do it when you need it the most!  :chuckle: So dont worry I will keep putting up pictures for you to  over!  ;)

WSU I only fish lead but that's because I hate divers! I would just fish with what ever you feel comfortable with!

That third fish looks like a humpy hybrid.
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

Is it a tule?
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
