I put together a few sound clips of each individual reed and Elk sounds I made with them . The reeds are actually a bit big for the roof of my mouth but I am able to use them , so bare with me if I have a messed up sound or two in the clip. I just have a small mouth . All reeds were used in conjunction with Phelps Game Calls " Unlocateable Bugle  Tube " All these calls and the tube can be found on the website : http://phelpsgamecalls.com/store
Anyway hope this helps if anyone is looking to purchase some more reeds before elk season gets underway , awesome sounds and they are pretty easy to use.

The first clip is with the Dragon Slayer Reed. It makes some good bull sounds and cow sounds . I prefer it for just bugling though but that my preferance.

The second clip is the Sattelite seducer reed. It works well for bull and cow sounds.

The third clip is the Pleeding Hotty reed and works real well for all cow / calf sounds.

The fourth clip is the Elk Commander reed which will do all elk sounds you want to make . If I was going to get one reed it would be this reed .

Anyway hope the clips help.

Sounds good Charlie, but if you need any instructions on how to call I'm here to help  :chuckle:

Also my call press and tape cutter should be here next week, so I will be able to build you a smaller framed call.

Sounds awesome. I've been messing around with mine as I just found it in the mail today, deifnitely having a hard time with the bigger reed. Have you found you just have to set it further back in your mouth? I trimmed it slightly but the reed frame just seems a bit bigger than most my other calls, but I want it to work so bad its frustrating me!
