didn't sell my boat so I decided to use it!
« on: September 03, 2012, 07:22:46 PM »
I thought I had my boat sold earlier in the week but noooooooo, some one changed their mind! So, what do ya do...........go fishing of course! My second trip of the year out for silvers and all I can say is, come on Edmond's coho derby! Granted I didn't boat any derby winning size fish, but still we did well. It wasn't fast and furious by any means but it was steady. About a fish and hour. Caught 4 between my GF and I, and lost 3. All 4 were native males between 5.5 and 9 lbs. It was an absolute beautiful day on the water. The wind did kick up a bit at the end but still a very nice day. Today was one of those day's that reminds us all why we live here.

Nothing better than fresh coho on the grill.   Yes, nates are legal to keep in area 9. All 4 were native males. I am trying to sell the big Seaswirl to get back into an aluminum boat. I tell ya though, on a day like yesterday I was happy to have a heavy fiberglass deep V hull! The wind came up in the afternoon and we had white caps and rough sea's. Through in a heavy dose of big boat traffic and it was a rock and a rolling out there!

I saw a boat that looked like yours and pointed it out to my GF. Maybe it was you. I told her I wanted to get one like yours when I sell mine.
