SEKUI - Round Four
« on: September 15, 2012, 08:37:44 PM »
Ding, ding!  We hit it Fri and Sat, myself, Robodad and my neighbor....  Excellent trip, weather perfect.....  Crowds, holy *censored*, alot of people and boats, but once away from dock we hit it deep and far away....  26 or so the first day with sorting threw natives to find some keepers, today was another story "Kill" fishery, lots of fish, maybe 30-35 to the boat.  We could have been done way early around 0700 if we decided, but wanted to keep fishing till we were ready to go home... Which came about the time a down rigger exploded...  So it was time to go, right about the time Robo caught a beauty on herring out the back on the deck.... while idle - fixing the DR...  Great time with great people, as usual....  A couple more wekends to go...  Yee haw!

Might wanna check the regs on having a forward shining light mounted to your boat. I think they are only legal for commercials.

We had an accident here in Vancouver, on the river, before daylight. The LEO's were saying it wouldn't have happened if the guy had a spotlight on the front of his boat, which was not legal for recreation boats.

Just a heads up.

I "think" I really don't care what you think!

Although I rather enjoy this site, sometimes I wonder why I post anything due to people that know everything or believe they do...    Your reply is rather annoying to the point of you living out the name of "Cliff"  thanks, I'll wait for Norm at Cheers...

I think I will take my chances at a ticket before I hit a dead head or worse when navigating safely in the water at night time...  Or of course that might be caused by; staying for that last fish and cruising back down river the truck and trailer or assisting and helping others that might need some assistance in the event of mishap or just plain looking for something...

Ran them for years in AK and will run them here without worry of a ticket or being harassed by Coast Guard/Fish and Game, etc....  Obviously there is a time and place- like never in the fog, heavier traffic zones and docks areas.  I got assisted years ago with someone that had similar lights, if it wasn't for him I would have been stranded way up river in dropping temps, motor problems and dead heads everywhere...  But again thanks for your awesome insight and advice....

Well, my name is Clifford .
Given to me by my father,
named after my Great Great Grand father. He taught my grandfather to fish and my grandfather taught me.

I enjoyed the day I fished on your boat. After all the dealing I went through to get you some shad, I appreciated the offer to go fishing.

Guess some people feel others are beneath their self assumed stature among men.

Don't bother asking for anything from this end of the state. Apparently your fellow fshermen are not worthy.
