how long did it take for animals to come in on mineral licks?

how long after you set out your licks did animals start coming in? do the bears hit em much?

  If you put it in a good location where there are already game trails, et, It won't take long.  If you are setting it up for a trailcam, dig a hole for the block or it will get moved from in front of the camera. I only have one pic of a bear this year at a lick, and it was just passing by, but I occasionally get pics of cougars that are patroling the area.

It only took a few days to get activity on the 3 different licks I have going, as far as bears, I've had 3 different bears this summer.  I had 2 coming in pretty regular and then I had a picture of a hound and never seen the bears again.  I'm assuming the timber company control hunt took care of them.
