What was the elk you found? Spike? Cow? How far from where the salt block was found? I didn't see a pic of a spike run through, so he must have shot one of those cows? Is there a cow tag for that area right now?A lot of questions I know.....just trying to get an even bigger picture of the jerks actions......I bet he threw the salt into the brush.....just to be a D*#K!
Quote from: BIGINNER on September 17, 2012, 09:15:40 AMwhat happened to his bow between pic #6 and #7 ? did he steal the salt block or throw it into the brush?I guess I don't know why someone would throw it in the brush??? I darn sure did not go look for it, I was in no mood for a scavenger hunt. Doesn't make sense either way...He is a scumbag in my books.

Disgusted with the waste of good Elk meat as well!! I would think you would have a ton of pictures of him going back and fourth trying to find the downed elk.Big country and no reason hosing someone Else's hunt. A couple times I've bumped into other hunters on Public lands and of those a couple exhibited a not so nice attitude.... almost like 'what are you doing in my forest', instead of where can we each go so as to not impact one another and maybe improve each others hunt. Dorking with your salt lick is nothing compared to harassing another hunter. (Especially a 70 year old one)
i would make copies of the photos and leave them where the other camp can find them. That might shake things up. leave one of the dead elk too. That might spook them right out of the area. Better move your camera first.
