was some of the best elk hunting i have ever experianced. last weekend we had 6 different bulls bugleing in 2 days. it was some thick stuff over there just couldnt get the big guys to come into the calls. had a couple bulls within 50 yards just could see them. i screwed up on a nice 6x6 in the meadow the first night there, got caught by another spike. i am already itching to get back over there! cant wait for next year.

Yeah they are screaming right now ...Just saw a dandy at around 12:15 as I was going down the road , So I pulled over and he had around 20 or more cows he was trying to round up and he was just going off ...Only if someone I knew had a muzzy tag for my little area
