Everything is pretty much closed down by my cabin in Montesano. I got a few other spots but nothing like down there. I think it would take three days to a weeks worth of rain for them to open up some of the timberland.

I've got the multiseason, too.  Be looking for the big buck since the elk is already in the freezer.  I have a plan...just not sure how good the plan is.  Going to make a 3 day trip.  It's an area that was involved in a fire.  Hoping it will leave a fewer islands of green to find that big buck in.  Also an area that makes my hunting method more successful.  They close the area to motor vehicles so I won't go hiking in and get passed by 4 wheeler.

I'm excited for my 1st ever muzzy deer hunt, unfortunately I volunteered to work this weekend (double time and a half ) so I'll wait till next weekend or the general rifle season. No regrets about the multi-season tag, gives me alot more options. :chuckle:

I'm going out tomorrow! I have never done the early season and the place I normally go isn't open. I am going to head to Umtanum unit and stroll around lol. I have only been out there a couple times so not expecting much. Should be fun to get out of the house though!

Hey Carpsniper,  Get that work done and head for the hills!!  the deer are a-waitin!

I know I wish I could seed at 50 mph then I would get done really fast :chuckle:

I have to wait on some seed grain until mid afternoon. So I am going to head out in the morning and more or less hunt for some points towards my elk hunt next year :chuckle: There are not many deer right no but there will be more then a few road hunters :bash:
