3 sets 2 dogs 1 miss
« on: September 30, 2012, 11:07:14 AM »
It was happening fast this morning. My first set I called for about 3 minutes and a coyote was watching me on a rock outcropping 200 yards away. The yote was facing me quartering slightly so i shot at the on side shoulder. She started spinning in a circle so i put another one in it. The second set i called for about 30 seconds and almost was ran over. He caught me moving and ran about 100 yards and stopped broadside. I had to shoot offhand because the brush was to tall for my prone bipod. He did a 100 yard death run and piled up. The third set i called for about 2 minutes and had a young dog come in. This spot i had been planning on using a shotgun due to the thick brush but i felt like the rifle was hot so i took it. The pup was about 25 yards away but directly behind a sage brush so i didn't have a clean shot. It busted me and moved off about 50 yards. It stopped  and looked back. I shot and missed.  This was all before 9:00 this morning.

Now is a great time to start thumping some dogs. They have been out in full force.

Nice!
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
