from the hunter;
I got the buck on the third day at first light, we had seen the deer in there in the summer and knew that it was a well travelled spot by a bachelor group of bucks. I snuck into the area slow and quiet to make sure i wouldnt blow the chance at a shot, soon as i crested the ridge into the bowl, i picked out four deer get out of there bed and work their way up the hill. Since we were hunting in a 4 year old burn it is very difficult to get any shooting lanes so I had to make a quick decision on whether to follow them over the top or wrap around the hill hoping to cut them off! As i made the quick decision to head up the hill i didnt make it more than 100 yards and caught three deer going out to my right then saw "The Big One" bringing up the back, I knew it was gonna be an off hand shot up a steep hill so I took a deep breath pulled up on him and fired, Drilling him quartering away right through the lungs and into the boiler room! One more shot was enought to bring him down the hill sliding right to my feet just about! There was definately no ground shrinkage when i got up to him! Overall i was a very happy hunter!

 That's a heck of a buck! Congrats to him!!
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.
