Sounds like you have a lot of questions. Take it to someone is the real answer. Even if you just meet someone at the archery range to look at it. I'm at Skookum Archery range regularly. PM me and maybe we can meet up there.

30 or 100, wow thats a huge difference. sighting a bow myself may not be good if i barely learning to shoot straight, how do i know if its me of the bow off  :chuckle: is there anyone at all that does all the above?

The string itself probably is 30-40 dollars but you will need your cables replaced so altogether you are looking at around 100 dollars. Take Larry(old dog) up on his offer, he is very knowledgeable and can answer your questions to get you started in the right direction.
