Big night tonight.

And the tag remains un-notched.

Tag Holder got into them thick tonight.  Passed on approximately 8 or 9 bulls, including a 6x8.  Unfortunately none really were all that spectacular.  He's still got a few days left and it seems the weather change has sparked the rut back up a little and got them talking again.  Hopefully his patience pays off and he's able to land a true wall hanger.

He's got more patience then I do, my finger would be itching like crazy at this point.

I'll let you guys know how his hunt goes tomorrow.

We will see if he has any pictures.  He's coming back to his house tonight to recharge in his own bed for a bit, then back at them tomorrow morning.

No pictures...sounds like all THREE tag holders are still holding out.  All three are seeing bulls, but nothing anyone wants to hang a tag on.  Somewhere around the 300" range and below.

3 days.

The reason for the lack of pictures is that you are only allowed one guy to bring in.  So you've got the shooter and a caller, and focusing on calling the elk, and the shooter deciding if he wants to shoot or not leaves an "action" camera out of the loop.

Silk , I figured you were holding his ML to keep him from shooting a dink :)

I'm not with him.  For those who don't know, you are only allowed to bring ONE other person with you.  Otherwise I would have shouldered my way in and would be filming and photographing this hunt.  He doesn't seem to be having any problems holding off, he sounded like he was in Zen Hunter mode last night.

If you are in the zone for a nice bull it is amazing how you can hold out.

I passed on 15 shooters on a moose hunt because I have a moose as big as most all of them, turned out to be my all time favorite hunt and I never pulled the trigger.

I can imagine the stories the guy will have after this hunt even if he doesn't tag out.

Morning hunt is done, got into a few bulls again. Our Tag Holder passed on what he said was a decent six point. I'm trying to get a score estimate, but no response yet.

But that sounds to me like he finally saw a mature bull.

Sounds like they are rip roaring and bugling right now too.

Stay tuned. We are getting close!

People on here just don't understand all the different rules on each of the Hancock lands.  Chill a little people.   I'm curious what he'll shoot in there, I've spent some time in there  ;)

I doubt we'll see any pics after the couple of d-bags ruined the thread

well shoot john you must of forgot they know everything.
