I think there's some confusion out there.  Even if it wasn't hot, you couldn't go in right now anyways, there is an active elk season in progress.

Yes it did.  It is always closed for ALL ELK seasons...read the rules.  This hunt is not a new thing.

4. At Kapowsin and Eatonville, no access is allowed during modern firearm, archery and muzzleloader bull elk seasons in GMUs 652, 653 and 654. Kapowsin and Buckley are open for January antlerless elk hunt. See Washington Big Game Hunting Regulations for details.

This is because they draw 6 hunters to have access.

From what I read...White River isn't closed for elk.  Just Kapowsin and Eatonville.

This is a battle I face every year on here. Hancock is NOT a location, they are a landowner. Hancock owns land is almost all counties in WA that have timber industry. But yet it seems like most people call the Kapowsin Tree Farm Hancock, they fail to realize there are 4 large tree farms owned by Hancock in King and Pierce Counties. For the prevention of future issues, why don't we call the Kapowsin farm, what it is, the Kapowsin Tree Farm, not Hancock.

I interpret this to mean that there no hunting season in the tree farms during the general seasons without having a permit to hunt bull elk during those seasons.  I don't believe that you are actually prohibited from entering during elk season, but somebody please correct me if I am reading this wrong. I would hate to have my permit yanked because of a misunderstanding.

You can not access hancock land during elk season unless you drew one of there elk tags.

This is WRONG! The only farms that close during elk season are Kapowsin and Eatonville.

The Hancock Snoqualmie and White River Tree Farms only close for fire danger and the 4th of july annual closure.

You are right Kapowsin and Eatonville are the only ones that close.  But Snoqualmie and White River do not say you can not access them during any elk season when you get your packet.  So I assumed that we were talking about Kapowsin and Eatonville.
