Badlands 2200 pack
«
on:

Anyone have any experience with the pack? I do a lot of whitetail bear mule deer and elk hunting and was thinking about this pack. I will be doing mostly day hunting but everyonce and a while I'll do a pack in trip. I also have a late season slide ridge hunt that I will need a pack like this I found one in town for 259.99. Anyone have anything to say about this pack or a place I can get a good deal on one?

check craigslist, e-bay, hunt-wa classifieds, etc.
personally, I'd go with the 2800 over the 2200, it gets just as small yet expands to hold much more gear/meat.

That's a great pack. I've used it on the high hunt a few times and carried everything I need for a few days on my back. It has a place to attach the rifle to the side while you're hiking in. This year we packed a bear out in a Badlands 2200 and it worked well.
I've also put thier warranty to the test and they are quick and fixed everything my pack needed.

Great pack. I love it. Unless your on a long 5day+ pack it will do most everything well.
