These lands will not be open until a inch of measurable rain is recorded in the area.. We have received rain but not the rain amounts that they were expecting....

I know for a fact it won't be open tomorrow.  We need quite a bit more rain up here before it will happen.

It is not open at this time.  It WILL NOT be open tomorrow.  I live here and know all the guys at Hancock.  Heck the DNR still has us at a ILFP 3.  If we get the rain that is forecast, it may open by Wednesday.

Call the hotline
Yes call the hotline, each of them have one posted, and WDFW has posted them as well.. I know the foresters well in this area and talked to them this evening, it depend's on to nights rain fall. They will be discussing it in the morning on a opening date it could open by Tuesday. If it doesn't continue to rain thru the night, most likely the weekend. Still very dry out there, was out all weekend, and it didn't put enough rain down, and the wind was blowing out east this evening drying any moisture that had been on the ground..Definitely plenty of people were ticketed this weekend from what I was told...

Nope, its not doing much here in Glenwood.  Its rained a little on and off all day.  I know all the Hancock guys pretty well here in Glenwood and know they are watching it closely.  If my memory serves me right, I think as of this morning we've only had like a 1/3 inch of rain at Draper, but don't quote me on that.

Nope, your right.. That is what they said to me about 1/4 inch is all, they are hoping for the inch to get things open though..

Unfortunately that 1" of rain is not in the forecast but we'll see what they decide on when they all meet.  Going hunting in the A.M anyway.  Got to go find that 4pt I saw this afternoon.

http://www.dnr.wa.gov/RecreationEducation/News/Pages/2013_08_30_ban_lifted_nr.aspx

Seems that as of yesterday, campfires are allowed within the two camp grounds.   :  Signs are still up though all over the DNR land that say, "NO CAMPFIRES ALLOWED"  :dunno:

Talked to one of the Kreps who is involved with the timber portion of the ranch this weekend.. The land closures will not be lifted in this area any time soon.  They will be waiting on a considerable amount of rain before lifting the bans.  With a forecast of warm, dry weather, im betting on sometime next month
