6.5 Creedmoor reload data
« on: October 20, 2012, 08:23:06 AM »
I'm ready to reload my 6.5. Anyone have a good load worked up. I'm going to use 140 grn Berger VLDs. I have the data from Walt Berger that he sent me and was curious what any of you have found that works well. My gun is a Savage model 16.
Thanks
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

Let me get back to work on Monday and I will talk to a fitter at work who has one and built some data.

OK, thanks. I've sighted in with Hornady AMAX 140 grainers. Shoot exceptionally well, 600 yards no problem.

I'll try. My range is my backyard. I've shot it maybe 40 times and I'm very impressed with the gun. I used Hornady 140 AMAX to sight it in. I'm not into the tight azz groups like some. I can tell you that one guy I shoot steel with out to 1100 yard shots, LOVES it. They were shooting 1/2 -1 inch groups at 500 yards if I remember right. They were using bipods only, no leadsleds for the steel shoot.
