The nasty part was right along the spine injury. It was related. I as expecting to find a bullet or broadhead but didn't dig around in the gross part much. We lost both tenderloins
and about 6 inches of backstrap. I was very careful and may have lost too much but it grossed me out. Lots of scar tissue also. Should have taken pics.
oh well. Still got plenty of meat. Whatever made the injury went in at a sharp angle toward the hips through the spine and came out through the tenderloin. Surprised it didn't paralyze the buck like a spine hit usually does.
