buddy's marckworth buck
« on: October 22, 2012, 04:19:33 AM »
My buddy is disabled so, I got him this little 2x2 on Sunday.  Damn thing made it down into this canyon and back into the trees a 100 yards or so.  It  sure is nice to have the hunter companion card for deer and elk. :IBCOOL:.  Ran into Jharrisstealth when I walked back to the truck and, what a guy, he helped me drag him out of the canyon.  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!.  I would have been there all day.  Now I can concentrate on the big boy like I got last year. (pic added-can't help myself-so proud of that one).  Talk to you all soon.

Ok, what's a " markworth " buck ? I've hunted for 30 plus years and never have heard some of these " new " names for deer........ :chuckle:

Marckworth state forest, east king county.
Shhhh.....
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Congrats to your buddy. Good looking deer.
