What does he score?
« on: October 23, 2012, 07:14:58 PM »
I know these aren't the best pictures to base a score off of (maybe Littlejohn can give us some more pics).  I hope John swats this buck when he goes back in there in November.

I pass and let him grow!   Haha, just kidding.... Nice find!  I'd say he scores 180-190, but then again I'm bad at scoring from pics.

:yeah:
I'd say right around 190. He sure is wide with nice deep forks!

Can't really give a good score off of the pics.  How about SHOOT!   What a big buck.

Hard to tell exactly what hes working with there, especially on that right side.  My GUT tells me that if the right side looks like the left he's 190 easy.  Im always optimistic when looking at pictures too, so take that estimate with a grain of salt.

What bone said, pictures are horrible to score off of especially these ones. But for sure a buck of a lifetime without a doubt.

Yeah, we all need to bother John for the side shots.  Says you can make out some of the trash and the front forks.

Roby (outfitter) was packing out a bull in the dark and heard a loud grunt very close in front of him. Got out the Surefire light and saw this guy standing at 20 yds. Got a doz pics or so, these are the only one that turned out.

Three of us are headed in there on the 4th of Nov to try to find him or his Big Brother. Hope the snow doesn't keep us out.

I could care less about the score, buck of a lifetime for anyone. My boss has a 189" on the wall and this guy appears to be a lot bigger than that :dunno:

It's hard to see. That frame could be 185-200" depending on the depth of the front forks. That is a BIG sob no matter what. My suggestion is don't waste time with the spotting scope. Just pull the trigger.

Is he a giant 3 point??
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
