Bushnell HD Trophy Cam Black Flash
« on: October 24, 2012, 09:19:41 PM »

Anyone using this version of Bushnell? Any thoughts or opinions?

I bought this cam (Bushnell HD Trophy Cam) nearly two years ago but was not able to find a lock box for it at the time. I put it aside until a few days ago.

I am impressed with the daytime video quality but so far I am not impressed with the nighttime video.
The video started out at 1280x720 but through editing and uploading it is now much smaller and not as crisp. I do love having the audio though.

Hey, that spot looks kind of familiar.   :)

Great video, that actually is nice having the audio.

So far I have gotten just over 200 20 second videos, but I am using 12 AA Energizer E-Lithium batteries.

I was hoping for better lowlight/night videos at less than 5 yards.

I like the last few seconds of that first video.  She's a little left of center and another animal nudges the cam to center her.   :chuckle:

Looks like the black flash causes just as much whiteout on the IR shots as my plain IR Wildgame cam.  Nice shots though.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"
