Congrats! Wow! That thing is a giant! Wonder if your taxi would let you take the antlers home while the hide is getting tanned. Just have him call when he is ready to mount. We did this with a bull my father shot. Go pick up your antlers!

Great buck and great advice from C-Money.  That is what I do with my bucks is bring the antlers home and mount them on a plaque above the fireplace until the taxi is ready to do the mount, normally almost a year later so having the antlers to look at all that time is great.  I think if I get one this year I will have a Euro mount done until he is ready to mount the antlers, it will cost a few bucks more but will look great on the wall for the year that you have to wait to get the real thing done.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.
