Bucks are sparring
« on: October 27, 2012, 09:55:43 AM »
The wife and I are down in Ocean Shores celebrating our 9yr anniversary and as I'm drinking my cup of coffee and watching the news, something catches my eye outside. Two nice big healthy bucks going at it, both were 3x3 with eye guards. Pretty cool to watch.

I got some trail cam pictures of some bucks doing that on October 12th.

Wish I would've had the camera set to take video instead of photos.   :bash:

Buddy of mine is down there for the weekend. Set me pictures of giants just walking around. One bedded 20 yards off the road.

We drove around for a bit and saw several studs and got pics too, I can't figure out how to post pics from my phone. Saw well over 100 deer and 1/3 being buck. Not to many dinks.

Here is the bedded buck. The others are the same size.

Yep took the kid for a drive last night and we saw 2 bucks playing pretty ruff with each other, not all out fighting but they were pretty aggresive with each other.

Photo 5! Man I love mature 2 point blacktail. What an awesome deer.

I have a 2 point on the property that I hunt that is 2.5 years old, long legs and just a good looking deer. I hope he stays a 2. I think I have a trail pic.

Photo 5 & 1 are the same buck. He allowed me to walk to about 15ft from him before he got up and started licking his lips, I backed off
