Well my little sister took a nice bull today in Wy she started hunting last year when she turned 12 "the minimum age to hunt in Wy", She took a nice bull last year and was hooked on elk hunting we went up opening weekend and she past on a couple young bulls and one similar to the bull she shot last year. I cant believe a 13 yr old is so damn picky ! Any way we Bumped a herd of over 200 head and their were some stud herd bulls but they were intercepted by other hunters and the herd was turned from were we planned on intercepting them! Last two weeks things have been really slow but a storm moved in and put some snow in the high country pushing the herds down and well they went to the ridge were she killed her bull last year and after hiking in they found some fresh sign so they decided to sit on it all day at noon this guy stood up and fed through a patch of timber below them @ 380 yds were she made a great 1 shot kill with her (Mine- will never get it back) 2506 AI hes a 5x6 and taped him @ 309" Her bull last year was in the next clearing @ 450 yds and was a 6x7(little kicker off G4) that went 285"

Biggerhammer - Funny thing is this area is a fairly easy area low quality tag to draw for residents, She told us last night its time to start putting in for the higher quality tags

she cracks me up So if she is lucky enough to draw next year yea we will try it again lol.

BowHunter -that 2506 is an awesome gun my mom killed her moose with a 2506 too they are plenty of gun for big critters

Runningboard -the other little sister is 12 this year but she didnt draw a bull tag just a cow tag But she is a Huntress already she laid out a great speed goat at 380 yds and They both have muley tags that open Nov. 1
