wifes first buck (blacktail)
« on: November 05, 2012, 12:06:02 PM »
Ok, so i finally figured out how to post. The wife ended up killing her first deer ever, on the last day of general season. We hunted as much as we could throughout the season, mostly seeing only does. Then the weekend before the season ended, we had a couple small bucks cross our paths, but decided to pass on those. So we ended up going out on the last day, and this guy came through with his nose so far up a doe's rearend, he could have cared less that we were there. The wife pulled the trigger and dropped him right in his tracks.

Nice job
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Ya know, i told her I would gut her first one so she could watch, but she ended up jumping in there and helping out anyways.
