Sometimes the ladies in your life nag, nag, nag and just never stop mewing about stupid crap.  I expect he was trying to commit suicide when the island got in the way.   Ahhhh!  No whinners, no gossip, no honey I wants, and no kids - perfect :chuckle:

Life with a harem might not be all it's cracked up to be.  Ever thought about the demands on a man when all 20 of his girls friends get visited my mother nature at the same time :yike:  I don't blame this guy at all.  Infact the more I type the more I find I'm becoming jealous :o  He's probably quite happy
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Too bad a couple cows can't be planted out there now. Whidbey is a big island and it wasn't too long ago when it did have a resident herd. But they were intentionally eliminated with the last one being shot in 1958.

That bull was here for a bit before the pictures hit the newspaper... just about a mile down the road from my house.  Had someone send me pictures,,, thought it was photoshop, then another guy told me about it.  So I went out at the end of Sept and did a little bugling... yep he is real.  Haven't seen him in a few weeks now.  Funny thing is we had a fallow deer (white one) that was here a few years ago, someone raising it and it got loose.  I kept waiting to see if it would come into my apple trees.... :-)  Now just blacktails sneaking in and eating all my apples... LOL

NWWABOWHNTR  I have property on Green Road on Whidbey. This summer I saw a half white, half brown doe on the property.  Very strange looking.

About 25 years ago, while stationed at Subbase Bangor, I saw an all white doe on the base. Looked like a goat.

Yep.. this is old news but thats o.k because some may have missed it ...we have elk all over the place up north ...just had over 90 + head move into the valley and all in one field ...I am just waiting to see what happens this winter...already has been a few hit by cars ...and for those that think tribal hunting is hurting the nutsack herd , think again ! I just want one in my freezer  :dunno: :chuckle:

There are elk in Kitsap County

Are you joking?  I have only lived here for about 3 years and all I keep hearing is "There are no elk in Kitsap county..."

If what you are saying is true, I might make it my personal mission to at least get a picture of one...  meat from one would be even better...
