44 days? 6 for elk, and some guys have already tagged out on deer, man I don't think I could wait that long reading all these posts and looking at all the pics, good luck with that

My bull tag is OCT 20th-Nov 2nd...
i will be deer hunting before then...but can hunt general elk.

I pull out and head to Idaho on Oct. 25th for the general elk hunt...I am the point of trying to slow down time a bit because it is coming so soon, and will be over before I know it.  I enjoy the leadup to the hunt...

its here and gone before you know it...
i wish we had a way longer season to hunt.
but there is always ducks and pheasants..
