any camo  works anywhere.  I've got what ever is on sale and I mix it all together. I have always wanted to buy a Hawaiian shirt and some flowery disco pants from goodwill and use them to
prove that it really doesn't matter.

Ha ha ha ha
i hear that. i look at the old vintage photos of the masher bucks that those old timmers got and they had none of the technology that we have in camo now and still were very successuful.

i guess my question should be what camo looks the coolest and makes you look the part of a hunter savage... ha ha ha....

If I had to pick one for around here for sept and oct it would be Advantage timber.
Late buck Mossy oak break up or snow camo.

good luck!

I like camo with some contrast to break up your outline.  Light and dark colors like outfitter or ASAT camo.  The darker camo patterns just look like solid black once your about 30 yards away.

I have been using OUTFITTER CAMO from Cabelas in Western WA and Eastern WA and OR. It really blends in good with evergreens and the brush and pines of the dry side. Good mix of browns, greens and grays.

I agree with EastWaViking it dosen't matter, movement is what gives you away not your specific camo pattern. All those pretty camo patterns are meant to catch the hunters eye not the game we hunt.I think any light neutral will get you by just about anywhere you hunt. :hunter:

oh jeeze... here we go! im on the 'camo doesn't do jack but if it makes you feel better whatever' side of the fence. iv never worn camo and prolly never will. i got some worn out wranglers, carharts and if its wet out, ethier wool bibs or gortex shell pants and jacket... i always get a kick outa the road hunters decked out in the latest and greatest cabelas has to offer. its a FACT the dudes i run in to back in the backwoods miles from any road are rarely wearing any camo at all. dunno, i usually still hunt and if i spot and stalk im looking for a 300yd shot anyways so doesn't seem to matter for me. i do however 100% belive that you HAVE to break up your silhoutte, i wear orange with a black break up or whatever for that very reason. but camo? naw, not for me...

I wear Natural gear because it was on sale at my sporting goods store last year and my wife said my ass looks good in them. I wear them around the house when I'm hunting her.

I wear a leafy wear jacket when I'm bowhunting, it really breaks up my outline well. Otherwise it doesn't really matter what kind of camo a guy wears. I've had animals at spitting distance wearing jeans and a filson black and red jacket.

I hunted for years with the green / with black stripes ( don't know what its called, doesn't look like the best ) and had deer & elk stare at me @ 25 yards and not see me. I needed more clothes this year since I will be staying longer with gas prices and bought the mossy oak new break up. I also tend to agree it doesn't matter a whole lot, but if you are confident with the scent free good crap & will hunt longer / harder then it will make you more successful.
