lewis river elk?

where did they go? been up lookin over some forest service jobs, been all the way from the 25 to the 23 to down in the wind river, pretty slim on the sightings, some of the units we walked didn't have much sign in em at all. anybody doing any good ?

Odd. You would think with the amount of activity on Adams lately it would have pushed some over towards the 23.  :dunno:

I was working up FS 90 and Marble Mtn area yesterday and saw 6 bulls either hangin or in the back of rigs, all but 1 were raghorns that looked like (slightly) over-achieving blacktails, 1 though was a respectable (by St Helens herd standards) 5x5.

we hunted at home for a couple days west klick, then we were up by the ape caves lookin at more f.s. jobs and we ran into plenty of elk just no bulls, lottsa people up curly cr. and even more further up the 90 rd. there is new snow so I would think the last few days would get better.
