RBros does excellent work and is great to deal with.  It may be a little further but Shawn Carlock W/Defensive Edge builds and excellent rifle as well and has the fastest turn around time of anyone I have ever used.  Last build was less than 3 1/2 months.  They are located just across the Wa. border in Rathdrum Id.

Either choice would build you and excellent rifle!!!

:yeah:Routinely shoot guns built by both! And they both stack em!

How far was the deer? :)

12ft on the first shot, swung on him moving. All I could see was his head and only hair in the scope. Swung on him like with a shotgun, looking over the top of the scope and pulled the trigger. Cut him with the bullet right over his right brow. Next shot was a 379 yards on the move. Dead right there! Any other questions? Still peddling PMR' for close to 1K?   :chuckle:

Why? It's more fun a little further out.  :chuckle: Besides, he ran uphill and 400 yards closer to my truck. Worked out rather well.

What do you want it to weigh, and stocked how? Those questions may dictate who you see for a build.

Lol!, Yeah, only a deer.... ;) lucky he didnt drop into a draw or worse yet, dissappear to never be found again >:( But everyone has a opinion on what a good shot is and one that should be passed up. Gladd it worked for you hammer and he wasnt left to suffer :) To many animals die a slow death every year due to sloppy shooting. I like to practice all summer on steel   :chuckle: so I dont miss those shot, especially the close ones! ;) ;) :chuckle:

Mountainman, very nice rifle.  I am curious as to the barrel wrap?  Specific function or just cool aesthetics?

Two-fold. Weight reduction is a definate plus. More importantly, heat transfer. With the graphite the barrel will cool much quicker and not retain the heat which can cause groups to wander a bit. And it adds stiffness, rigidity to the barrel without the added weight of a heavier contour. :)
