Late ML buck down
« on: November 22, 2012, 07:27:34 PM »
Took this nice buck opening morning. Spotted him chasing a doe all over the county side, lost him, and then found him several more times over numerous hills and very wet miles. When i spotted him the last time he was SPENT. Tongue out from running, just standing and panting, looking at the same doe. Finally after standing for a half hour he bedded down. I made an 800 yard stalk getting behind him with perfect wind and the rain to keep my sound down. Ended up being a very short shot, got him in his bed with a shot to the back of the neck. Thought i didn't have my camera but found it while I was prepping my back for the long pack out. So sorry for the field pics.

Try downsizing your photos before uploading.
