2nd bear tag....reporting confusion
« on: November 23, 2012, 09:36:20 AM »
So...went online to report my tag.....2nd bear tag.....as unfilled. The questions it asks are for FIRST bear...which I have already reported. If I answer all the questions it shows a header of General Bear, 2nd tag, and asks if I want to confirm. No, I don't want to confirm. I didn't fill the 2nd tag.

Am I missing something here?

But the big question is "Was this hunt reporting tool satisfactory?"   :chuckle:  Good luck figuring it out, I ha ve always felt the second deer tag reporting sucked.

No kidding....I've already reported my first bear.......don't need to do it again. Glad I'm not the only one that is confused by the questions...I guess I should go in and just submit it as second bear info regardless of the quesitons being labeled first bear.

I had the same confusion. When you go to fill out the second tag report all they ask about is your first tag it's weird... I hit submit and it worked out

Ok....did it....I reported my first when I killed it, then used the tools available to report my second tag as unfilled....if they can't sort it out then that is their problem...I did my part.

Did you print out the confirmation page or write the info?  I do just in case there is a problem and they try and say I didn't report.

Print....I usually do that, tuck 'em in with the tag and throw it in the pile with the others. Good reminder though.....thanks.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one...I had entered my first back in early Oct, and so I entered the same info again because it specifically asked for the first tag info. Oh well, hope they figure it out and fix it. :dunno:

Everyone just needs to click "UNSATISFACTORY" at the end and maybe they will get a clue to fix things.

I have found it easier to not report anything and just pay the fines.  Thats what they really want anyways, right?
