fishing ?  :dunno:

lots of people on the water yesterday, must be some fish in the water..i was just driving by

hunting....still a wolf problem..we saw more elk than deer an then even a moose( hasnt happened in awhile) so hopefully the critters are getting used to the wolfs  :dunno:

still some big bucks an bulls along that river  :tup:

My son attends WSU.  He said that the Grande Ronde this year did not have the run that they had last year.  He has been fishing the Clearwater but only on Indian property. He said it is not as good as last year as well.  He is a bank fisherman

105,000 steelhead over granite only about 17,000 of them are Clearwater fish..its not a good year on that river..the ronde is getting most of these fish

Just got home and yes really slow on the Clearwater, that smoky die off three years ago really has hurt that fishery!!! We never touched a fish in two days from Lenore done to Lewiston. All the rivers turned muddy today and almost double in flows. I heard there was a possibility that they might shut it down till they get there hatchery fish in :( .
