Congrats Jon I think I see a track in your Montana picture from a bigger buck
I saw that to and was going to ask if the first shot was a warning shot Look's like it is super fresh to me. Where they still rutting pretty good?
Sorry to hear that. It's turned off to fast here as well. I think over the years I have had 5 people shoot points off or blow the whole horn off. My cousin did that a couple years ago shooting at a 2x3. Lucky for him he blew the 2 point side off because he could never find it That would be a tuff one to explain to the game warden My grandfather cracked one in the horn a long time ago. Dropped dead as a doornail. Until we got up to him we had no idea where he hit it. Then looking at the horn it notch a chunk out of the main beam. When I caped the deer out it had split his skull Never seen anything like it.
Looks pretty flawless, Jon. I did notice a grammar error but aside from that I think you're mostly flawless and good to go.

Awesome story man, how do you like that bow?
I have been looking at new bows as well, I think the spyder 30 is what I have settled on too. I was also considering a Heli M but, I don't know. I'm going to shoot them both one more time before I make my final decision. Like I said, awesome write up, congrats man
