Eblerstock blue widow jp9 vs just one j34????

Hey guys I am trying to decide between these two packs. What are the main differences? I am planning rifle hunting but which pack do you prefer and why? I have spent a long time reading reviews. Looking for a 3-4 day backcountry pack that can haul meat and serve as a day pack. Also looking at the bl 2800

I'd get this pack if I wasn't going to buy a Kifaru or Mystery Ranch, and it's made in the USA.

Depends if the gun carrier is important to you.  Packs are very similar.  I would not use a BL2800 any distance from the truck.  Too high of failure rate.  Can't go wrong with either Eberle.  Though if I remember correctly the Blue Widow is lighter in weight.  Weight and the waist belt straps are the only complaint I have had with Eberlestock packs.

Look at the Tenzing 5000/6000 packs lighter than Eberle and better carrying capacity.

I have the Blue Widow, and I love it.  Used it pre-season for scouting and packing stuff into my stands, plus entire season for Early archery.  Packed heavy loads of elk meat out too!

Blue Widow and Tenzing 6000 are within one ounce of each other (you might be thinking the J107).  Bluewidow has a larger meat compartment while the expanding side pockets of the Tenzing offer more gear while packing meat.  Very comparable packs.  I like the roll out rain cover on the Tenzing.  Like the way the Eberle carries loads better.  Also, Tenzing does allow for greater organization within the pack which I like.  Not enough of an advantage to get me to switch yet.  However, if Tenzing would adopt the waiste belt strap system he used at Blacks Creek I'd probably switch. It's a weak point in both designs in my opinion.

Here's a pick of the Just one J34. It has a boned out 5point in it, the two hinds (unboned), my rifle in the scabbard, the head, and a bunch of other misc stuff. It was a pain to get on my feet with suck a heavy load but it handled it well. Cant speak for your other choices but thought Id chime in with this one. I really love the scabbard on the eberlestoks. I use a x-1 for coyotes and carry a shotty in the scabbard for close coyotes.

I chose the battleship.    I love it.    I pack backinto the crap and need something that I can get it out in a trip.   I am 6'5 and 275, so can haul it.
