Will have to look at regs, but isn't whitefish open yet or shouldn't it be soon?
Haven't done that in a while but thinking on it.

I thought it opened dec. 1st  and lasted to jan. 31st. either way I know it's close to the time of freezing my a$$ of to catch some. I do more or less enjoy sitting around a fire fishing though

had a co-worker fish banks lake for whitefish last week between him and his son they caught 24. they were fishing at the inlet of the lake using shrimp.
