NANEUM LATE ARCHERY ELK
« on: December 02, 2012, 01:05:49 PM »
How has the elk hunting  been in the Naneum this year?  I haven't had a chance with work until now to go and was wondering if it would be worthwhile to take a week off for the end of Late Archery.  I heard most of the elk went on down to the river with the first snow and the wolves have forced the rest down into the farmlands.  Any truth to these rumors?

I passed six branched antler bulls next to i90 at 132. Some of them are starting to move. Sure there's plenty left up in the hills.

Thanks!  That gives me some hope even though I don't have a big bull tag.  Sure could use the time off.

We saw lots of elk last weekend but all were on private property down low.  For those with permission it would be great, but no permission meant no elk.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

A bad day of hunting is better than a good day at work! Take a week off and head out if you can. You never know what could happen unless you get out there and hunt!
