First band!!!

Got my first banded duck ever last week! I've only been hunting waterfowl for a couple seasons now and I'm just starting to get the hang of it. It was my first drake mallard also!

Congrat's on your first band and first drake.  It's always a thrill to see silver when you retrieve your bird.  Don't forget to let us know the band information when you get it back.....John

Got the info for it. Says it was banded on 8-6-12 in alberta, canada. It also says that it was hatched in 2011 or earlier.
