Do those things eat good?I've never hunted them, heck never even seen one out of all the years I've hunted. One day I would love to make it over to the coast for some a hunt. I really want a long tail (I think that's what they are called) and a scoter for the wall.
i shot a white wing scoter east of the columbia last year, no need to go to the coast and month ago i saw a small flock of three flying low along the columbia. ugly freaking birds but one of the goals i have as far as bird hunting goes for me. just need to get the other sub-species to finish the deal
