400+" Montana Bull in Extreme Elk Magazine
« on: December 12, 2012, 11:16:55 AM »
Did you guys see the bull Jared Bloomgren shot in Montana this fall? The story is every bit as impressive and will be in the next issue (Spring 2013) of Extreme Elk Magazine!

After 15 days and several close calls, Jared got it done on a general tag, DIY, public land hunt...if you're not already subscribed, be sure to do it now so you can read his story!

This should be an awesome issue.  Along with all of the great columns in every magazine.  This issue features stories from a few of my buddies.

If you haven't subscribed this is an awesome magazine and at $5 an issue is well worth it.  Heck ask someone for a subscription as a Christmas Gift (The gift that gives throughout the year).

7x7 what a stud.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

Glad you got it broke in. I havent got to harvest an animal with mine yet but I've shot out to near 1000 yards with it a few times with it and have it dialed in tight. If there isnt much wind I've got some range. I'm loving mine as Im sure you are most happy with yours as well.

Is it known what units the Wyoming bulls were taken? It looks like the Bighorns, unless I'm sorely mistaken.
Wishing I was fishing...or in Wyoming

The issue turned out awesome (there is a blues bull in the issue as well).  These guys will even let someone with a mug as ugly as mine grace the pages.
