Better something than nothing...

I agree. I just wish they would have said no motorized vehicles, period.

But, this will keep the 99% of the people out.

OK, again, I think this is great, but another pessimistic question...

The article says the roads are closed. Does that mean all these roads have locked gates, or is there just a sign saying "road closed"?

I would think they are just closed. I dont think they went up and put gates.

Well, someone said previously in this thread that the gates are already there and just need to be closed. I don't know. But, I think if there are no gates, the indians will continue to access that area, until the snow gets too deep.

Most of the roads already have gates and are to be locked.

Snomobile sales just hit an alltime high in central Wa. Good work to all of those, who participated (myself included). Hopefully next year will be more productive in keeping them out earlier. Nothing wrong with natives getting their share, but do it on foot, and be respectful of the resource. That is all that everyone on here is asking...

Nice job everyone. Keep up the pressure. If there is any volunteering that can be done keep it up on here so we can get the information to help.
I also thing the person that is on here was beaten by his parents or something?? thats why he has those rediculouse comments. I would be a little harsher but i dont want to get kicked off or edited again.

THis is what they have in the Wenas.  Alot of "damage" is done off the main road, but this certainly helps.
This could also help the "shedding" problems we are encountering from some folks.
