Was just there. Hardly saw a track. Others said the same thing. Hope you have a snow machine. It may have helped a lot because all the areas we drove or hiked were empty of elk and a lot of roads closed to snow mobile only traffic

The elk are out there. Snowmobiles and snowshoes will be a big help. Good luck. Had that tag a few years ago and was really suprised at how deep the snow got and the elk were still staying put.
