get a hand call, camo up best you can, (hands and face important) if you can, get shooting stix, and put your back to a tree with a nice vantage of the area you think the yotes might come in from.  my favorite hand call is a Circe long/med range rabbit call, and a carlton med size open reed.. just get crazy with the call,  manipulating it to make all kinds of crazy sounds, blast that thing for 20 seconds and then wait, then repeat every other minute or so.

get the video, by Randy anderson, titled, "calling all dogs III" it will teach you all you need. especially as to the body language of the dog., learning that will help u decide if your going to take a poke at it at 200 yards, or coax him in and blast him at 10.  good luck.

not sure how well they work but my smart phone has lots of free coyote calls you can download that are fairly loud. just a thought. i have a tree stand and a trail camera and a bow if you need help and i am close to there.
The only person who has failed is the one who never tried.

A 12 gauge with HeviShot Dead Coyote is not a bad idea either.  in close brushy areas you and get on target fast and let her rip.  On the wet side of washington you get sudden quick looks and often at 50-60 yards.  calls help.  I have a coyote in my neighborhood that might meet a muzzy in the near future.  for calling use mostly prey distress calls.  real coyote sounds are less consistent but when they work coyotes come in fast and close in my experience.  good luck and post photos if you get one with your story.  don't get discouraged.  hunting coyotes is the most challenging thing i have ever hunted but it is very addicitive.

PATIENCE!!! Try to call them in and be ready it happens fast. Make sure you can see downwind. Stay alert watch the wind sit still.
