Naches sportsmen has seen this first hand as well!! Oh and by the way we have gotten 15 elk in 10 days. All legal cows!! Going after 2 more in the morning.
Were all those cows pregnant?  So if bulls and cows are born at a 1 to 1 ratio, you effectively killed 7 bulls and 22 cows. You are criticizing who? Is this the same herd being hunted? On the same wintering grounds? With high powered rifles?
No, it's Master Hunters only hunt and he charges an access fee to the MH's to go pick off a pregnant cow standing around some freshly laid out breakfast.
Oh kinda like a feedlot just not a state sponsored one. I see....
This is pot...
Here is kettle.....

Are you making these claims based on what you KNOW to be true, or based on what you read on the internet?

I'm just curious if you know the real circumstances or if this is conjecture on your part.

For instance, are you under the impression that he brings hay out for the elk?
See post #50 in that link.

Post 50?   Are you sure?    That would be the 5th post on the 4th page?

Nothing in that post (that I see) that addresses my question.    :dunno:
Well, it;s reply #50.  My bad.
And I have the 50 post per page view so it's page 2 to me.

.... Lol and yes I will be contacting the captain on a false statement. This will be my last post in here to you Internet detectives.  By the way it is legal to feed elk on your property and that all I'm doing. No different then people putting deer feeders or licks out. I have my same return clients so I'm not worried. And why should I not charge an access fee, it's my land. You start paying the taxes and maintaining it and you can hunt for free

I was coming out of the Nile today( chinook pass) and stopped at at the woodshed store, to my surprise there where 4 pickups with racks and 7 big bull elk.... I think if they need all this meat stay on your own deeded land.... If they are going to come on to our land obey are seasons and laws... I'm tired of seeing this every year...

Does animal size make this bad, is it skin color or is it race?

Would you be as outraged if it was only a 4x4 in someones rig or what if it was a 5x partially gutted and left to rot on the side of the road? Both of these happened in the Winston yesterday durinng a cow hunt.

The anger comes from the fact that some members of the Yakama tribe and now Muckleshoot tribe kill multiple trophy bull elk every year.  Many are not what most consider a real hunter since they wait until winter hits and shoot them in their wintering grounds when they are trying to survive.  There have also been numerous incidents where Yakama members have shot trophy bull elk off of hay in or around the feeding station.

Now compare this to someone like me who has 10pts and still can't draw a branch bull tag.  I will most likely never draw a branch bull tag in the Colockum, but a certain Yakama kills about 4 every year.  And yes I had pictures and posted them here.  Another discussion for another day.

The anger stems from the lack of  equality.  Anytime there is inequality between two groups of people (also known as racial discrimination) there will be anger.

Exactly. The point myself and others are trying to make is not without pictures its not happening.  We ALL know its happening.. The only people that don't know its happening are either not ever up there to see it or they have blinders on. We know it happens every September in the Colockum and every Dec through Feb in the Yakima areas.  Our point is, is that complaining about it here only raises awareness about it on this website which is basically preaching to the choir.  If you want to change things everytime you see it take pictures post it up and/or send it to Plateau.  I dont think a media blitz is the way to go.  Let Plateau have a chance and for the Yakamas to work things out themselves.  If they don't then a media blitz as a last resort would be something I support.

the tribes are full of *censored*, they talk of all this mother earth crap and throw around subsistence hunting left and right when people complain, well......how many cows do ya see in their pickups, they only shoot the bulls, and  for one reason, and it has nothing to do with subsistence.

:yeah:
My buddy and his family have been skiing up at White Pass and staying in Packwood this week.  They saw 2 huge bulls in the back of a white Dodge on the hwy.  He said they looked like tribal members.  His daughter tried to get a good pic on her cel phone but it is pretty blurry.  My wife's best friend's recent ex husband is a Yakima and recently moved back to WA from Arizona.  He has been shooting the *censored* out of the bulls in the Nile area.   :bash: :bash:
