Fun on the lower Columbia
« on: January 06, 2013, 11:30:21 AM »
Yesterday(Sat)my patner and I set up for Bluebills just like the previous weekend only they wouldn't cooporate one bit so after a few hours we moved to another spot and set up for puddlers(my buddies idea, lol). It didn't take long and we finished with 13 birds. My fault it wasn't 14. My older lab(his turn today) retrieved a triple for my partner and two doubles for me. One of the doubles was a blind all the way across the slough we were hunting. I didn't even have time to drink my coffee.

Sounds good, I like it when we are shooting doubles and triples.

good times. I just love hunting with an older experienced dog. They sure know how to make the other guys dogs look bad.   :chuckle:
Well done
