Nice photo. You know someone mentioned hunting down in Smith Creek the other day and I was wondering if it actually gets crowded down in there. I guess if I want to know I will have to go see for myself.

That's always the best way, but it's hit and miss it's not too bad. Sometimes there too many people, but they for the most part they leave during the week. Need to get up in there in a couple of weeks to see what's left afthe last seasons heavy rains. Lots of places were washed out.

That was pretty good! North side of Mt. Hull. Lots-o-critters up there. The speck in the field is our place up there. We're heading up tomorrow morning to spend a few days. See if the Merriams are in the lower lot and listen for the drumming grouse.
See ya'll next Monday...

ah yes good old copper creek.that road there is just past the dug up part at the trail head of G--- lake. my nephew shot his first bear on the timber line just above that landing. we use to be able to drive that road all the way along the ridge to the end, we use to bait the crap out of that whole creek bottom also. saw one of the biggest bear i'v ever seen on that big open hillside to the left when you are driving up to the trail head to lake christine.

We'll do GoCoug, if I get down that way this year, going to Montana and have a shot at a Wa. special hunt. I hunted the old Ranier tree farm quite a bit, took a couple bucks out of there and spend a lot of time hiking up around the park. I'd be in a silver Chevy 1/2 ton.
